We are excited to announce our upcoming ARC’s 10th Anniversary Church Retreat from April 11 to April 13, 2025. It will be a special time to remember how far God has brought us, engage in spiritual restoration, and rejoice in the blessings to come. This retreat is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of life to spend time with God and one another in a peaceful setting.
All are welcome! This retreat is open to individuals, families, and groups of all ages.
Our retreat will be held at the beautiful Potomac Park Retreat & Conference Center, nestled in the scenic hills.

All are welcome to attend! The ARC 10th Anniversary Retreat is open to current ARC members, previous ARC members, and non-members. Youth attending the retreat must be accompanied in the care of a parent or guardian.
The ARC 10th Anniversary Retreat will be held on Friday, April 11 - Sunday, April 13. Sessions and activities will run from Friday evening (approximately beginning at 4pm) through Sunday afternoon (approximately ending by 1pm).

Registration opens for everyone on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Registration will close on Sunday, March 9, 2024.
ARC members will be able to access the Early Registration Rates beginning December 8 through February 2. Regular Registration Rates will go into effect on Monday, February 3 through March 9.
Non-ARC members will be able to access the Regular Registration Rates beginning December 8 through March 9.
Registration may be paid using a checking account, debit card, or major credit card.
Note: Digital Payment (including Apple Pay, Venmo, etc.) is not accepted.
No. Those interested in attending the retreat will need to register no later than Sunday, March 9th.
Registration funds (including deposits) are non-refundable. However, these funds can be transferred to another party
We do not want costs to impede a member’s ability to attend the retreat. Partial scholarship funds are available for ARC members that have a financial need. Please inform your Shepherding Pastor of your retreat interest and complete the ARC Retreat Partial Scholarship Form by Monday, January 20.
Yes, please go ahead and register for a double occupancy room. On the section of the registration form that asks for group members, please put “TBD” and indicate if a) you will choose your roommate and let the Retreat Committee know or b) you would like the Retreat Committee to match you with another attendee looking for a roommate for the weekend.
Yes. You may submit funds, in any amount, via Simplify Give using the ARC Retreat Sponsorship fund . Funds will be utilized to support scholarships.
Yes. However, registration costs will not be adjusted or subsidized.
At this time, attendees should organize their own transportation to and from the retreat. However, the Retreat Steering Committee is working to determine alternative options for transportation.

The Retreat Steering committee will develop and share a list with registrants in advance of the retreat weekend.
Registration for the retreat includes 5 buffet style meals: 1 meal on Friday (dinner), 3 meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and 1 meal on Sunday (breakfast).
A breakfast meal typically consists of a protein, hot side dishes, cereals, fruit, and a beverage center of milk, juice, coffee, and water. A lunch or dinner meal typically consists of hot entrees, side dishes, soup, salad bar, dessert, and a beverage center of juice, soda, coffee, and water.
The retreat center’s Food Service manager will choose the menu with care based on the type of groups they have on grounds at that time - “We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, however there are times where a guest may be asked to bring supplemental food in regards to their restriction.” All dietary requests are to be submitted to the event/group leader so the leader can arrange through Conference Services.
Event attendees may choose to bring their own meals (food, snacks, etc.). However, food preparation space (kitchen) and materials (pots, etc.) are not available.
Many activities are available at the Retreat Center and are included in the registration costs.
Indoor Activities (housed in the retreat gym): Basketball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, Pickleball, Fitness Center, Table Tennis, Billiards, Foosball, Cornhole, Board Games
Outdoor Activities (located throughout the property): Pars on the Potomac Mini Golf, Slippery Slopes, Disc Golf, Sand Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Kickball, Football, Soccer, Gaga Ball, Horseshoes, Hiking, Snow Sledding Hill, Hayrides, Bonfires, Recreation fields, 2 Parks (swings, teeter-totters, jungle gym and slides)
Additional activities that are provided will be included in the registration costs.
Retreat activities are highly encouraged! We hope to create space in the retreat schedule that will also allow folks to commune with God one-on-one.

The Conference Center requires that groups identify a First Aid Emergency Contact. The Retreat Committee will identify this individual in advance of the event weekend.
